This section addresses the un-Biblical doctrines of the Faith Movement.
Our intention is not to cause division but to give Biblical answers to
un-Biblical theology. The Faith Movement is also called "Word of
Faith" or "Word Faith", but what it really is-is charismatic chaos.
Those who are most known in the Faith Movement
are: "Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyers,
Kenneth Hagin, Paul Crouch, Jan Crouch, Frederick Price." This is a
small list of the many involved in the Faith Movement. The Trinity
Broadcasting Network also known as TBN has many of these teachers constantly
teaching their un-Biblical doctrines and many people are not aware of the
issues. The Faith
Movement focuses on things like: "Name and claim it...Christians are
to be wealthy not poor...Christians are to be healthy not sick." If
you are not rich or healthy the belief is that you are in some way sinning
against God and therefore you are the cause of your misfortune. The
Faith Movement also teaches: "Jesus became literal sin upon the cross
and took on the nature of Satan...Jesus had to go to hell and be tormented
for 3 days and nights, and on the third day become the first born again
man...Jesus did not pay the debt for our sins upon the cross but had to also
become spiritually dead and taste the punishment that we deserve."
This is just the tip of the iceberg and our hope is that you examine these
things carefully to see if what you have been taught is truly Scriptural.
These doctrines are taught on the radio, TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network),
Churches, books, etc., and our purpose for sharing this is to help you be
aware. Below are articles and information concerning Joyce Meyers,
