Friday Night Apologetics 1-05-2007
Roman Catholic Church, Water Baptism, Church Father
Download Greetings to those who are reading this and will listen to the first FNA of 2007! There is something new happening with FNA, at least a little bit different. For each month the FNA discussions will be a theme month. For example this audio is on Roman Catholicism doctrines on water baptism for salvation, and for the rest of the month of January FNA will have discussions on Roman Catholicism with various topics. In this live study discussion chat we had a good room and good dialogues on the microphone. The main emphasis in this discussion is on Church Fathers teachings on water baptism and the Roman Catholic Church. Below will have various links for further information for those who wish to examine this a bit more for themselves. At AFC our view is, "We hold for doctrine and practice to what the Scriptures teach, not on traditions or what others have taught. Though we may not agree we don't have any less respect for the Church Fathers or others in Church history. In the end we want to hold to what God has clearly given us in Scripture which we know is truth. We can learn from others no doubt, again though, the standard is on what God's Word states."
