Our Purpose

The main reason why we have this site is to help Christians grow in the faith and to help non-believers come to know Christ.  This ministry started a few years ago with simply wanting to help friends of ours with various issues sharing the faith with Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons.  As time passed it became more obvious that this was more than just doing this for friends but a ministry to reach to people all around the world.  We believe that it is the duty of the Christian Church (believers in Christ) to reach to people where ever you can, whether in person, on the phone, emails, internet, etc.  Our ministry has went through many changes over the last few years and we are continually striving to make it better.  We also have support of friends in Christ who support us with prayer and encouragement, and help keep us in check.

Majority of the articles are written by me (Kelly Powers) and my wife (Theresa Powers) helps organize the site.  We both know that this ministry is of the Lord and that we have been called to be an online outreach to Christians and non-Christians.  If you want to learn about how Theresa and I came to know the Lord then check out our testimonies in our "About Us" section.

Ministry with evangelism, apologetics, and outreaches (Kelly Powers)

  1. Involved as a leader in ministry outreach to the homeless each week bringing food, water, clothes, shoes, hygiene products (toothpaste, brushes, soap, shampoo, etc), paperback small New Testament Bibles & tracts.  The purpose was to reach out to those who have needs and share the love of Christ with them.  Reaching out to people in the sense of giving and in the area of connecting with them so that they would have hope and come to Christ.

  2. Led groups for ministry outreach with handing out tracts to people.  There would be groups of us who would go out to witness in various areas.

  3. Involved with helping orphans (children) in Mexico.  I have been privileged to experience helping those in need with helping in building projects, material needs, and sharing Jesus with them.  I was able to go twice on missions trips to Tijuana (Mexico) for the weekend.

Personal experiences (Kelly Powers)

  1. I have witnessed to many Jehovah's Witnesses having many discussions. With witnessing to Jehovah's Witnesses over the years some have come to know Christ.

  2. I have witnessed to many Mormons having many discussions.  Las Vegas has many Mormons because it is very close to Utah and I was able to reach out to many who were willing to have discussions.  I have had numerous (a lot)  first hand discussions with Mormon Missionaries discussing the issues of the Mormon Church and what the Scriptures teach.  Over the years there have been some Mormons who have come out of the Mormon Church and have come to know Jesus Christ personally.

  3. I have been able to share the faith with many different types of people with various beliefs. (Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims, Roman Catholics, New Agers, Christian Science believers, Atheists, occultists, and others)

  4. I have reached out ministering to those who are homeless and establishing relationships over time.  Being able to help with their material needs and spiritual needs.

  5. In my jobs that the Lord has provided I was able to share the faith and some people have come to know the Lord.

This information was shared for those who maybe interested in why we do what we do.  We are imperfect people who love the Lord Jesus and desire to ministry to people.  If you have questions concerning this or other issues then contact us.
